Zurich Takaful Malaysia Celebrates 337 Top Performing Consultants at its Agency Awards Night

This most prestigious and anticipated affair among the agency force is ZTMB’s first agency awards organised under the Zurich brand after the company successfully joined the Zurich family in July last year.

Salim Majid Zain, Chief Executive Officer of ZTMB expressed his appreciation to members of the agency force in high spirits, “The sterling performance by these 337 consultants is a testament of growth for us. Despite the keen competition within the industry, we delivered impressive results particulary in the production of one of our key investment-linked plans, Zurich Takafulink which grew 30.6% last year. Tonight is an opportunity for us to thank them for a job well done. They deserve to be honoured for their hard work, perseverance and determination in rising above their peers. I’m sure the recognition received is worth every struggle and knowing that their achievements will make such a positive difference in their career path.”

Clinching the highest award for the night is Sumardi Said, Managing Consultant from Johor Bahru who received the Top of The Table (TOT) title under the Personal Producer’s category. Other top awardees who emerged as “Champions” in their respective categories include Shah Rizal Azmi (Top Chief Managing Consultant – Whole Group), Mohd Fahmi Hatta (Top Chief Managing Consultant –Direct Group), Ahmad Afifi (Top Managing Consultant), Mohd Faizal Rozuan (Top Personal Producer), Othman Amrizal (Top Consultant) and Mirza Izwan (Top Rookie Consultant).

The event was also graced by Tan Sri Ahmad Don, Chairman of ZTMB, Philip Smith, Executive Director of ZTMB and Chief Executive Officer of Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad, as well as Saiful Nizam Esahak, Executive Vice President of Family Takaful, ZTMB who is also the organizing chairman of the awards night.

To date, ZTMB has about 5,700 active Family Takaful consultants servicing customers nationwide. In line with ZTMB’s continous effort to support the career development of its agency force, the company will hold its National Sales Congress tomorrow, 1 April to 2 April 2017. The congress will feature nine highly successful and experienced speakers from Malaysia, Singapore, Phillipines and Indonesia including guest speaker, Harith Iskander, who will share their knowledge and expertise with congress participants.

Over 800 agency members will benefit from the two-day congress where various interactive sessions, team-based workshops and seminars are planned to encourage participants to exchange ideas and learn from one another.
