With the ever-increasing rate of deforestation throughout Southeast Asia, the loss of plant species and forest cover remains a major conservation concern. It is estimated that 62% of Bornean endemic dipterocarp species, which are the backbone of the Malaysian tropical rainforest ecosystem, are under threat.

With Tropical Rainforest Conservation and Research Centre (TRCRC), we aim to reintroduce rare, endangered and threatened Dipterocarps as well as fast-growing species back into their native habitats at Merisuli, Sabah.

This initiative is part of our sustainability commitment of the 1.5°C Pledge to limit the average global temperature while also striving to become one of the most impactful businesses in the world.
