Sustainability at Zurich Malaysia

Zurich Malaysia is committed to embedding sustainability into every aspect of its operations. As part of the Zurich Group, the company aligns with the United Nations Global Business Ambition Pledge to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C and has been operating as a carbon-neutral business since 2014. Locally, Zurich Malaysia has implemented a Sustainability and Value-Based Intermediation for Takaful (VBIT) Policy to manage sustainability risks and initiatives. The company's sustainability efforts are structured around three focus areas: Planet, Customers, and People. These efforts include achieving a net-zero future, supporting customers' transformation to a sustainable future, and fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
