Zurich Insurance Malaysia Recognises Top Agents for their Commitment to Excellence
– Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad (ZIMB) upheld its promise to continuously support and motivate its agency force by recognising their outstanding sales performance in 2014 and rewarding them for their exceptional accomplishments.
Known for its company ethos’ and brand campaign, ‘For Those Who Truly Love’, ZIMB returns for its third instalment of the Agency Awards Presentation Dinner. Hosting up to 1,500 agents, agency leaders and guests at the prestigious Genting International Convention Centre (GICC) in Genting Highlands, ZIMB’s top 313 agency members were treated to a grand celebration for having proven to be Champions in their own league and for being the most productive agency members of 2014.
Philip Smith, Chief Executive Officer of ZIMB expressed his appreciation to members of the agency force in high spirits, “We are honoured and proud to have with us today the people who have helped positioned ZIMB at an ambitious level. It takes a lot of hard work and determination to be where they are now given the significant challenges faced by the industry. The sterling performance by these 313 agency members is a testament of growth within the company which proves that the agency channel remains our number one distribution channel and shall continue to be a fundamental part of the business. As gratitude of their dedication and dynamism, these agency members have given us a reason to acknowledge their success as well as to boost their morale and motivate them further.”
This year’s Agency Awards Presentation dinner was yet another year to be remembered for Group Agency Manager, K. Narayasamy as he returned to win the highest award for the night; the Top of the Table title, two years in a row. Joanne Quek on the other hand also joined him by bagging the Court of the Table award for the second consecutive year. Achieving the same recognition as Joanne were, Fauziah Bt Mohd Amin, Pang Suk Ching and Leong Siew Keng.
Emerging as “Champions” in respective categories were ‘Top Group Agency Manager’ - Fu Chen Shiun, ‘Superstar Group Agency Manager’ - Voon Foot Jee, Top Personal Producer’ - A. Amuthavalli as well as C. Jamespaul for the ‘Top Rookie Advisor’ award. Proudly attaining her fourth consecutive ‘Top Agency Manager’ and her first ‘Superstar Agency Manager’ title was Ho Sau Kwan. Adding icing to the cake, Pang Suk Chin was back to claim her second award as the ‘Top Personal Producing Agency Leader’ and K. Anandraj for successfully achieving the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) by First Year Commission (FYC) award.
Among the leaders who graced the event were Chairman of ZIMB - Tan Sri Ahmad Don, Chief Executive Officer of Global Life for the Asia Pacific Region - Colin Morgan, Chief Executive Officer of ZIMB - Philip Smith, General Manager - Life Insurance Division of ZIMB - Mukesh Dhawan as well as members of the Senior Management Team.
ZIMB continued to exceed the expectations of many, including agency members, by concluding the grand award presentation ceremony on Friday with its vanguard annual Zurich Star Experience (ZSE) agency conference which took place on Saturday, 11th April. Over 1,000 agency members were wowed by a series of activities and a comprehensive two-part workshop by Dato’ Tan Su Cheng, Malaysia’s leading expert for entrepreneurs.
The full-day exhilarating ZSE was uniquely designed to not only celebrate the strength, dedication and success of its agency force, but a commitment by the aspiring insurer to continuosly strive to support agents’ career development.
