Zurich Insurance Malaysia Salutes 354 Top Agency Members

This prestigious and most anticipated affair took place at the Ruby & Citrine Grand Ballroom of One World Hotel where more than 500 guests comprising of agency members, management and employees of Zurich Insurance Malaysia were present to toast and commemorate their outstanding achievements.

“This year, we have a total of 354 high-flying achievers who have delivered stellar performances. At a time when the industry is continuously evolving in terms of customer expectation, competition, regulation and proposition, our agency force has proven that their dedication and determination has allowed us to go beyond normal boundaries. Tonight is a testament of their hard work in helping Zurich transform into the company it is today,” said Mr. Phil Smith, Interim General Manager and Authorised Representative of Zurich Insurance Malaysia during his opening speech.

The highest award for the night went to A. Marimuthu, Joseph Khoo, Lee Ai Teng and K Narayasamy who joined the ranks of the best of the best by receiving the Top of The Table (TOT) qualifier. Sales Advisor, Lee Ai Teng is the first Chinese female who has ever qualified for the award in Zurich.

Other top awardees included Kang Leong Cheng, Lin Lai Har, Tan See Lay, Siah Ah See, Fu Shan Shan, K. Haritas, Joanne Quek and JS Tee for clinching the Court of the Table (COT) status. Compared to last year, the number of TOTs and COTs qualifiers have increased by four folds.

Also on the “Champions” list were Fu Cheh Shiun who bagged the Top Group Agency Manager title for the third consecutive time, Ho Sau Kwan who won the Top Agency Manager award, S Sivan who secured the Top Rookie Advisor, S Kovalan who emerged as Top Agency Builder for Group Agency Manager and Abdul Rahim Abdullah as Top Agency Builder for Agency Manager.

The event was also graced by Zurich Insurance Malaysia Chairman, Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Ahmad Bin Mohd Don, Members of the Board of Directors as well as President- Life Insurance Division, John Leong.

In total, 119 awards were given out that night in various categories including 74 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) recipients while the remaining 235 awards were presented earlier in a different occasion. Among the highlights of the night was the performance by former Malaysian Idol finalist, Nikki Palikat. Guest were also entertained by superb laser displays and exciting drum shows but above all had the hallmarks of triumph and jubilation.
