Kuala Lumpur
Moving from the first phase of the UCRP campaign in Melaka, Zurich Malaysia expanded its efforts to Kuala Lumpur, with Kampung Pasir Baru and PPR Beringin chosen as the project locations in Kuala Lumpur.
Kampung Pasir Baru was selected due to its history of frequent flooding. This decision was based on an analysis of past floods and the vulnerability of its residents, more than half of whom are elderly. The project aims to address flooding issues in Kampung Pasir Baru, improving both safety and the quality of life for its residents.
