Customers with Life Insurance and Family Takaful can notify their individual Life Insurance and Family Takaful claims online for the following claim types such as Accident, Hospitalisation, Death, Dread Disease/Critical Illness, Total and Permanent Disability, Waiver of Premium. In 2022, Zurich Malaysia won the claim initiative of the year from Asian Experience Awards for the engagement of its communities through digital activations and a four-phase COVID-19 aid programme, as well as for the simplification of the claiming process during natural disasters.

We prioritized digital transformation by launching a WhatsApp business channel to simplify and expedite client claims for property losses. A chatbot will assist clients through a 15-minute dialogue to gather relevant information. Customers can support their claim evaluation by uploading images, videos, or documents, which will be assessed within five working days.

This has prompted Zurich Malaysia to simplify the claims process in natural disasters to reduce clients' responsibilities. Resources were also provided to streamline cases and make claim settlements go more smoothly.

Not only that, our PA 1-Hour Approval claim initiative is another great effort to support the seamless claim experience. This greatly introduced initiative enables our Personal Sentinel Version 3 (PSV3) & Personal Sentinel Version 3 Plus (PSV3+) customers to submit their claims via WhatsApp in just a few clicks with the claims of up to RM1,000!
