“Spend & Win” e-Payment Campaign Rules and Regulations


“Spend & Win" e-Payment Campaign (“Campaign”) is organized by Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (formerly known as Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad) (“ZLIMB”) and Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad (“ZTMB”) (collectively, “Organizers”) in collaboration with MasterCard for a period from 1 April 2019 until 30 June 2019.

This Campaign is open to all Malaysian citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia who have bought new policies with the Organizers with successful initial payment and subsequent first year premium/contribution using MasterCard. Campaign Officials are not eligible to participate in this Campaign. Agent own case will be excluded from this campaign.

 

HOW TO JOIN

Step 1: Log in to Zurich Corporate website at: www.zurich.com.my 
Step 2: Click on www.zurich.com.my/MastercardCampaign. Answer 2 simple questions and tell us in the most creative way why Zurich is your preferred choice for your insurance or takaful needs (in not more than 20 words) then send in your entry.

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Open to first 12,000 successful transactions (for all new successful initial payment and subsequent recurrent first year premium/contribution using MasterCard) within the campaign period stated above.
  • Customers will be entitled to a RM30 petrol voucher for every successful transaction and also a chance to win ONE iPads where 10 iPads will be allocated for every 3,000 successful transactions.
  • Customers will have to send in their entry in the campaign micro-website in order to get the petrol voucher worth RM30 by answering 2 simple questions and provide their most creative slogan. Customers are allow to send in more than one entry (one entry per successful transaction using Mastercard) to get the petrol voucher. For iPad, customer can only win maximum ONE iPad per person (per NRIC/Applicant) regardless number of entry they have sent in. Winner of the iPad will be determined by panel judges base on correct answer for 2 simple questions and the originality and creativity of the slogan.
  • Entries must be original and shall not contain any inappropriate or obscene language and content such as nudity, bullying, violence, spam, harassment, intimidation, hate speech, threats, discrimination, dating, plagiarism, unauthorized commercial communications, unlawful multi-level marketing, login information or access of accounts belonging to someone else or anything that is illegal under the laws of Malaysia.
  • The Organizers have the rights to remove any entries which do not comply with the terms and conditions above at their sole discretion.
  • Entries must be written in the English Language only
  • Distribution of petrol vouchers and announcement of iPad winner will be determined one month after the end of the Campaign and distribution of the petrol vouchers and iPad will be at the respective servicing agent branch.
  • The Organizers are entitled to replace the prizes with other prizes/cash of similar value at any time without any prior notice.
  • Winners will be notified via email during and after the completion of the Campaign.
  • The Winner’s selection will be at the discretion of the Campaign Officials provided the entry meets the qualification criteria.
  • The Organizer has, at its sole discretion to disqualify an entry, if for any reason whatsoever have reason to believe that an Eligible Customer has attempted to undermine the operation of the Campaign in any way whatsoever, including but not limited to fraud, cheating or deception.
  • The Organizer’s decision on matters relating to the Campaign (including, but not limited to the selection of the winners) shall be final and absolute. No discussion, correspondence, enquiry, appeal or challenge by any of the Eligible Customers in respect of any decision of the Organizer shall be entertained.
  • Prizes must be collected in accordance with the mode to be specified by the Organizer (via servicing agent), at its sole and absolute discretion, upon notification of any winnings and within a stipulated time period. Failure to adhere to the mode of collection and within the stipulated time period will result in forfeiture of the prizes and the winners shall have no claim whatsoever against the Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, representatives, retailers, distributors, dealers as well as its advertising, creative, media, digital, design and other creative agencies of the Organizer, in the event of forfeiture thereof.
  • The Prizes cannot be exchanged or sold for cash and are non-transferable to any other person.
  • The Organizer shall not be liable for any disruption to the Campaign, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, which is beyond its reasonable control. In the event of disruption to the Campaign, reasonable efforts shall be used to remedy the disruption and resume the Campaign on a fair and equitable basis to the Eligible Customers.
  • The Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, representatives, retailers, distributors, dealers as well as its advertising, creative, media, digital, design and other creative agencies of the Organizer, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to loss of opportunities and any indirect or consequential losses) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with or arising from either participation in this Campaign or with any of the Prizes offered or forfeited.
  • The Terms and Conditions of the Campaign shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
  • All rights and privileges herein granted to the Organizer are irrevocable and not subject to rescission, restraint or injunction under any and all circumstances. Under no circumstances shall the Eligible Customers have the right to injunctive relief or to restrain or otherwise interfere with the organization of the Campaign, the production, distribution, exhibition and/or exploitation of the Campaign and/or any product based on and/or derived from the Campaign.
  • By entering and participating in this Campaign, the Customer hereby agrees that the organizer may collect, obtain, store and process your personal data for ZLIMB and ZTMB for internal usage or analysis in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and the personal data will not be disclosed to a third party without the Customer’s prior consent.
  • All personal data collected will only be used for the purposes of managing and operating the Campaign and not for any other purposes. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the Privacy Policy / PDP Notice found at the Organizers’ website at www.zurich.com.my/PDPA.
  • These Terms and Conditions will prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising the Campaign.
  • The main language of the Terms and Conditions shall be the English language. Any translation to any other language than English shall be for convenience only.
  • By virtue of an entry to the Campaign, the Eligible Customers signify their absolute and unconditional acceptance and agreement to all the Terms & Conditions stipulated herein.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Campaign without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellations, terminations or suspensions by the Organizer shall not entitle the Eligible Customers to any claim or compensation against the Organizer, its agents and employees for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Customers as a direct or an indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension thereof.
